BlockFact formats adopted into the C2PA core specification

BlockFact's three container formats — .facti (photo), .facta (audio) and .factv (video) — have been adopted into the C2PA core specification.

C2PA (the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) is the industry standard for content credentials. Having the BlockFact formats recognized in the core specification means provenance created with BlockFact interoperates natively with the wider content-authenticity ecosystem.

BlockFact is a C2PA contributing member and continues to contribute at the framework level across the specification.
