BlockFact joins the Decentralized Identity Foundation

BlockFact has joined the Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF) and is participating in the Creator Assertions Working Group (CAWG).

CAWG is formalizing the identity and trust layer for creator and content provenance — the framework that establishes who and what can be trusted across the content-authenticity ecosystem. Membership places BlockFact alongside other organizations shaping how creator assertions and trust lists work in practice.

This complements BlockFact's existing role as a C2PA contributing member and its participation in SMPTE media-provenance standardization. Our focus within the group is on conformance and trust-list interoperability — making provenance verifiable and portable across tools and platforms.
